Hi friends –
Today, we make Ghormeh Sabzi, which is a traditional, authentic Persian Herb Stew. This is among Iranians favorite comfort food and is served in almost every Persian get-together, and of course, any Persian restaurant you go to.
It’s not difficult to make, but it requires some ingredients which might be a little harder to find.
I think if you make it this way, you will love it, even if you are at first unfamiliar with the taste.

I’m not Iranian but I love Iranian food. This is one of my favorite here in Thailand. Unfortunately the Iranian restaurant closed down due to the pandemic. Hopefully they’ll open soon. I realized this dish is not complicated to make, however I’m not sure if I can find some of herbs here. I appreciate your Channel. Hope you’re doing well.

The greens my friend Nose at taught me to use were collard, mustard, and turnip greens and for the and black eyed peas. Is this ok? She also taught me the koobideh (easy in the oven way) and famous had it rice. We we were in college at the time

I am indian mixed with persian aryan heritage. My young son has totally taken the persian side on looks, preferences and even won't eat indian food. I have totally had to change my style of cooking to persian roots and I tried this recipe. The minute I put it in his mouth, he said he liked it ? so this recipe is a keeper.
